The winery is now completely solar-powered, combining the best that technology offers in a carbon-neutral way with vineyards that have been in the Guerrieri-Rizzardi family for centuries. The new generation in the family has also made the winery achieve a "renaissance" over the last years, and is known throughout Europe as one of the finest, most classical producers in the region.
The grapes of this vegan white wine are grown according to the Guyot method in various vineyards around the San Benedetto di Lugana area, where the subsoil is abundant in white clay. After selection and harvest, the grapes are crushed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks followed by refinement on the lees for 2-3 months, after which the wine is ready to be bottled. The result is reflected in its exotic fruit notes, candied citrus and saline undertones. On the palate, it is silky smooth in texture and lively in flavour with ample fruit. Dry, soft, mineral, with a light almond note on the finish.
It's a perfect match with grilled fish, fresh crustaceans, pasta, sushi and young cheese.
