The grapes for this single-vineyard wine come from around 2500 feet above sea level. Hand-picked and twice sorted by hand, the grapes are crushed, fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks and inoculated with selected yeasts. There is minimal French oak ageing in an effort to keep fruit fresh, lively and prominent, with a further one month’s ageing in the bottle.
Bodegas Bianchi, "Elsa", Malbec has a very attractive colour with a purplish hue. Aromas of ripe red fruits predominate, with a floral touch of violets that is characteristic of the Malbec from this region. In addition, due to the characteristics of our soil, some fresh, mineral notes can be found which add further youth and liveliness to this wine. The palate begins with round tannins, medium structure, great freshness and elegance. All these qualities make up an elegant, balanced wine that can be served with any kind of food.
