This vegan red wine is made from the delicious indigenous Greek grape variety, Xinomavro, harvested from a single vineyard on the Amyndeon plateau in Macedonia, Greece.
It has a complex, but typical bouquet of red berries, leather, pepper, clove and vanilla spice. Structured, with rounded tannins and balancing acidity, this wine has well-integrated oak and quince on the finish.
Pairs beautifully with venison steak, juicy BBQ meats or a rich steak chunk stew, but also cheeses like Somerset Cheddar or cave-aged Gruyere.
