Primitivo (or Zinfandel as it is known in the US), is a black grape variety of Croatian origin, now widely grown in the south-eastern Italian region of Puglia. This vegan Primitivo 'Grifone', Puglia has an intense ruby colour with aromas of liquorice and blackberry. Luscious notes of plums and stewed cherries follow through on the palate making it a captivating wine.
Pairs well with grilled game, venison, hearty vegetable stews & pizza.
